We all want a healthy lawn, right? However, sometimes we don't always know how to get that result. Today I want to lay out a basic 4 step plan to having a healthy lawn.
1: Crabgrass Prevention and Fertilization
Done in early Spring, preferably after the lawn has been aerated. This step will need to be repeated every two months.
2: Weed & Feed
Done in late Spring, at the first sign of dandelions. Applied to a wet lawn, so the weed & feed can stick to weeds and kill them, as well as stick to the lawn to feed it.
3: Summer Fertilization
Done between June and August, this is done to keep your lawn looking good through the stress of the Summer heat.
4: Winterization
Done after the final leaf removal or mulching, this prepares your lawn to withstand the harsh winter temperatures, and possible snow on top of it.
